Mar Baselios college of Nursing was established in year 2003 under the auspice of Mar Thoma Cheriapally , is a pioneer institution in rendering quality education and training to nursing students . Ever since its establishment , this institution has played a major role in the overall development of each student.

An eminent group of faculties with a very supportive management enriches the glory of this institution. presently, this institution is successfully running with 4 batches of Bsc Nursing with an annual intake of 60 students and 2 batches of Msc Nursing students with an annual intake of 18 students, and the specialties are Medical surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing and Obstetrical and Gynecological nursing. Our college has a good team of faculties comprising of 35 PG’s and 7 graduates.
Our college has well equipped laboratories FON lab, CHN lab, MCH lab and Nutrition lab for providing efficient training to the students and helping them to improve their nursing skills.
Our students are send for clinical training in our parent institution, Mar Baselios Medical Mission Hospital , a 500 bedded multispecialty hospital at kothamangalam. Apart from this , students are also give clinical exposure at various other hospitals like medical trust hospital , Ernakulam, MOSC hospital Kolenchery, Sacret heart hospital Painkulam, PVS Ernakulam, Government hospital, Indo American hospital , Vaikom, NIMHANS Bangalore etc…
Books always makes man wise. A good library with 3000 books helps the student to acquire knowledge in all aspects
College also provides accommodation facility for staffs and students. A well furnished hostel located beside the college with a capacity to accommodate about 400 studentsTransportation facilities are also provided by college through 3 college buses.
Our college gives equal importance for both curricular and extracurricular activities. MBCN SNA unit is a very big energetic and dynamic team the achievements of which has added the fame of this institution. The college celebrates all the Health days by organizing programs which enriches the knowledge and awareness of both public and students. MBCN SNA unit won the overall championship trophy in central zone- B and sports competition in 2 consecutive years.
During the course of journey, 5 batches has been graduated . campus recruitment services are also provided for students and its PROUD to say that WE ARE the CHILDREN of MBCN
